Confirmed from Bushy Run Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational park featuring trails, reenactments, and a museum, plus a public restroom.
What runners say about Bushy Run Park
“Trails are well maintained by the locals, and once you learn your way around there are about 6 unique miles of single track but hundreds of ways to change it up.”
“It is well kept, trails are beautiful, even the ones off the beaten path.”
“Several peaceful and quiet spots to meditate and ground yourself to nature.”
“Nice park if you like to walk in nature and or have dogs that need a good walk.”
An amazing piece of history come to life. Experience re-enactments, the museum and plenty of outdoor events. Walk the same ground as our ancestors walked in the late 1700s. I also heard many stories of paranormal encounters as I met many of the re-enactors during my time at bushy run.
Bushy Run is a beautiful historic park with a small museum on premise. There are a number of walking trails and the park is dog friendly.
More trails than any other park in the Greensburg area. Several peaceful and quiet spots to meditate and ground yourself to nature.
Great park for fun, flowy single track mountain biking. This refers to the trails opposite the side of the road from the memorial. Trails are well maintained by the locals, and once you learn your way around there are about 6 unique miles of single track but hundreds of ways to change it up.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
