Confirmed from César E. Chávez Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Hidden gem! Lived here all my life and not once went this direction on my rides. It has perfect trails to practice single track on a bike which I happily did. I practiced shifting gears up and downhill. Different terrain to practice on too. Nice little spot for picnics too.

When you walk at in the morning and this park, you know, lots of small small snails are crossing the road. So please look very very careful and the road. I’m gonna show some pictures.

PLACE: beautiful view of the bay and San Francisco, with bonus sight of the Golden Bridge! Also perfect place to bring you kite as the wind never stops (but it is very strong, so be extra careful). INFRA: many places to park and could see one public restroom. There are tracks to hike and run.

If you need to breathe fresh air this is the place, Wind almost always, so take your jacket and enjoy, the place is peaceful and beautiful, close to the end in the scenic view almost always have 2...3 snakes, but they are friendly if you don't disturb or try something not smart, stay at least 3...5 feet away

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
