Confirmed from McLaughlin Eastshore State Park State Seashore's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Shoreline refuge features tidal marshes, beaches & trails that provide panoramic views of the Bay.

“It's peaceful, calming and relaxing.”
Besides there being a lot of traffic right next to the path this is such a nice walk. Little beaches to pop down into. Beautiful views of the Bay, parking at different spots up and down the path. Not great for off leash walks with your dog, in my opinion.
Beautiful bay views and improved pathways make it a great place for a jog or walk. Restrooms are available in a paved parking area close to the Sea Breeze café south of University Avenue.
It' a very nice trail to relax.. it has a amazing view.. it is also safe and amazing to exercise!!!
I've run through this area nearly every day for the past decade. It's amazing how many things have changed and how much has stayed the same. Great animal watching, plant watching, and people watching year round, and at every hour.

“Also, it's kind of windy there, but I could see the view of San Francisco, and a lot of people go sailing on the ocean.”
“That's a nice place to chill with friends for 🅿️ free parking, but their restrooms didn't open when I went on weekdays.”
