Confirmed from Camp 5 Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Its free!!! Very large area great camping spots and lots of privacy. No electric or water hookups but its got great trails and hiking is good. Ontop there's a spot to shoot guns and its clean .did I mention its free!!
Incredible as any other Black Hills Forest destination. You can almost imagine what it must have been like here before settlements.
Great trailhead to start your day off at. The trail has its technical spots and easy spots. You can travel pretty far from this location. Spacious parking lot for your trailer. There is evenspots to camp in the back part.
If you are looking for technical trail riding this is the spot. Had to winch a few times but not bad. Smallest tire in our group was a 33 and they did well. Definitely will be back.
