Confirmed from CamRock County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Mountain-biking, hiking and kayaking area with trails, playgrounds, shelters, picnic tables and toilets.
What runners say about CamRock County Park
“A good pair of sneakers will get you set to walk this beautiful trail.”
“It’s comfortable and easy hike grade.”
We're on a cross country road trip in our Vandoit and I'm on a mission to mountain bike in every state we visit. After leaving Madison we stopped here to ride the mountain bike trails based on a recommendation. The trails were fun, fast and flowy.
We love going here! The trails can be challenging but fun. Lots of uphill in some areas. MAYORS playground is always fun (little beat up last time we went from rain) but the trail crew there we know works hard to keep the trails the best maintained they can!
Nice hiking trails, shelters and playgrounds spaced throughout the park. Easy going trails with larger bridges (our kids love bridges). Be prepared for lots of biking activity going on as it's set up for bikes- the fact that it was popular for bikes wasn't an issue though as everyone was courteous and there's usually…
So thankful for this park in our community offering walking, biking, kayaking, playgrounds, pavilions, bird watching, and wildlife. Accessible all year round. There are restaurant options on both ends of the trail. Come see for yourself and make a day of it in Cambridge!
