Confirmed from Canyon Creek Drive Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Great trail, pretty well maintained for bikers and hikers”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“The angle of the trail makes it one of the few Wasatch Front trails that is heavily wooded and shady.”

Fantastic hiking and mountain biking area. The trail network just keeps getting better and better. Thank you to everyone involved.

Great trail for hiking or biking. Super smooth and fun to ride. You have about a mile of pretty steep fire road before you hit the single track but then it's very nice and super pretty. Didn't get all the way to the top but I've heard going down the other side is great as well. Definitely go check it out.

★★★★★ — Steven , Jul 2020

This is a wide trail, traveled by recreational and 4x4 vehicles. It requires a bit of a lift to make it to the north canyon trail head father up the trail. There is beautiful creeks and meadows on both sides but most of it is fenced, private property. Its often quiet and fairly secluded.

★★★★☆ — Christina , Nov 2019

This trail is the southern end of the more popular Mueller Park Trail. It is well marked. The angle of the trail makes it one of the few Wasatch Front trails that is heavily wooded and shady. It is a great hike for a hot day and easy to get to.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“Hard to get to the trailhead, but there are repairs on the road that might be able to make it easier for an SUV or High clearance vehicle.”
