Confirmed from Holbrook Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Beautiful views and lots of greenery and shade, but not the best maintained trails and several sections are quite steep.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

Always a wonderful hike. Not too steep and lots of fun river crossings.

This is a tough trail if your kids don’t hike. Mine doesn’t have a lot of experience hiking so she (age 7) complained the entire 500 feet 😂 and we took like 8 water breaks. When we got to the view, she said “Wow! This is definitely worth it!” 😅 It’s a fun little hike that took 35 minutes from beginning to end.

We loved this trail! A bit more difficult though, and lots of people too. It's popular, so make sure you mind your manners and have dogs on the leash. The bridges we fun and cool but watch your step. Be prepared for a workout, bring water and snacks

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“It's a great place to take your dogs on a hike, but there is a lot of wildlife mainly deer so a leash is a good idea.”
