Confirmed from Canyon District Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering outdoor fields for soccer games, plus kids' play equipment and picnic areas.
What runners say about Canyon District Park
Everything at this park looks brand new. The playground is awesome, very unique. There is a nice long path with exercise equipment that goes around the lake. There are bathrooms, water fountains, and sports fields.
Great place for kids to hang out and be themselves. Nice cool breeze when its there. Plenty of shaded area for parents to take a breather while the kids have fun. Would definitely recommend. 👍
Very good place for walking and light exercises. Open from sunrise to sunset. Sufficient place for parking. I am a guest and felt that the residents are friendly and decent.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
