Confirmed from Canyon View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It's a great park for pickleball, it has a dog run, baseball field, soccer field, handball court, picnic area, gazebos, a pond, tennis courts and it's very convenient to get to. It's a very quiet nice place to hang out. There is plenty of parking spots. Plus there are some very quiet places also.

★★★★☆ — Carri , Jun 2025

Go to place to bring little ones. The kids love it. Nice walking paths, soccer fields, duck ponds, baseball/softball fields with their own separate playground, main playground has a separate area for smaller kids. Plenty of parking around the park.

This is a very nice, new park. We had a pull through and the site was very level, well groomed with smooth gravel, concrete patio with fireplace, and the grass lawn was well maintained. The small dog park was close to our site and was clean. There is another large dog park but we didn't use it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
