The park is a nice place to walk around especially if you also visit the Japanese garden nearby. I use the boat launch to canoe the Elkhorn Creek. It is a pretty stretch of stream although the water was very low due to the recent lack of rain.
A nice, paved walking trail with some tree coverage in spots. The park neighbors a river and a neighborhood, so it’s quiet. It was a very peaceful and easy walk. The walking path is a loop that is about 0.80 miles.
