Confirmed from Scott County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation site on 67 acres with fields for basketball & soccer, plus picnic areas & walking trails.

“Family friendly, clean and well kept.”
Beautiful little park. There are two ponds to go fishing in. There's a nice trail to walk, run, or ride your bike on. It also has several ball diamonds. Along with a small dog park. And a nice playground area.
This is a pretty place with lots of green space, walking paths, and a lake for fishing. There is a Port A Potty, but I didn’t see a bathroom with running water there. I didn’t realize it’s connected to Charles Brooking Park, which has a playground and ball field.
Very nice clean and quiet park....Fishing, Baseball, Walking Paths, Huge Playground, Picnic tables with Gazebos.... Even have charcoal Barbacues.....
Great little park. Family friendly, clean and well kept. Nice walking paths and fishing lakes.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
