Confirmed from Royal Spring Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park with a playground, picnic tables, and a public restroom, plus a creek.
What runners say about Royal Spring Park
“A beautiful sight, and it is a place to take family for a walk, party, and just to view a significant part of downtown Georgetown.”
Nice little park with a paved path and the neat attraction here is the Aquifer running along side the park. An aquifer is basically water coming out of the ground from a source some distance away or from an underground river or pocket of water.
A beautiful sight, and it is a place to take family for a walk, party, and just to view a significant part of downtown Georgetown....❤️🙏🏽💯
Very nice park, plenty of open space to run around and play, just not a lot of room for parking
It's not big, but I enjoy the sounds of the running water in the stream.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
