Confirmed from Carrollton Blue Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly trail along a pond for walking and cycling, plus a picnic table.

“It’s almost 8mi long, dog friendly, and almost all users are respectful.”
A super amazing trail that runs through Carrollton. It has a lake to fish or just go enjoy the view. Also has a nature trail and a monarch pollination staton. Everyone is so friendly.
I love walking and nothing is better than having the Carrollton Blue Trail right by where I live. Its so beautiful and today, November 10th, 2019 I did 5 mile walk. I never got frustrated or bored during my walk because the environment was so lively. Everyone is friendly.
Carrollton has some excellent trails and the Blue trail is beautiful and spacious and lovely. We did a pride event today and had 40 people out flying rainbow kites. It was amazingly fun.
I'm not sure what Google thinks the blue trail is... It's a walking/bicycling trail that follows the greenbelt in Carrollton. It's a completely paved trail with wide lanes. Currently goes from Hebron to Old Denton. Good exercise, beautiful landscape, and friendly people.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
