Confirmed from Tree Line Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green, family-friendly park featuring a playground, swings, slides, picnic tables and a book-swap box.
What runners say about Tree Line Park
“I suspect it gets too hot to play on, and there's very little shade at the playground itself, though there are a few shade trees nearby.”
It's nice and small. It's conveniently by a trail. I like that it has a sidewalk around the playground you can walk on while still keeping a close eye on your little ones. The only thing I don't like is that there is no bathroom.
When it has rained consitantly you get big puddles that you can't avoid. That's my only issue. They are far in between. I just hate soggy feet. Everyone seems to be well mannered and picks up after their pet! Going when it's not busy is Magical! But beware of extremely hot summer days. Their is not a lot of shade.
Small playground but enjoyable for little ones. No restroom. There is a Little Free Library box there, in case your kid gets bored which has yet to happen for mine at a playground. When they’re older we’ll likely be enjoying the trail which looks great.
Their is not a lot of shade. Carrollton does provide a couple of water fountains. Some are even made to fill a water bottle! Oh and pet water fountain. Have fun!
