My husband and I went here to the Long Valley Farm entrance and walked a number of the trails. This was a great park with pretty easy trails. We went early in the morning on a Saturday and when we were leaving it was getting pretty busy. I imagine it's really busy after lunch. A lot of people had dogs.
Absolutely beautiful park. The dock is the best part in my opinion. It a great place to get a good hike in and to fish.
Carvers Creek State Park in North Carolina is not only a haven for nature lovers but also a gateway to history. Nestled amidst pine forests and serene lakes, this park was once home to the winter estate of James Stillman Rockefeller.
Excellent walking trail with a lot of tree coverage for shade. One option is about a 2.2 mile walk. The trails are well cared for. The property is beautiful. There is a porta potty towards the middle of the trail loop, my friend said it was clean and well-maintained.
