Confirmed from Case Creek Trails , Tails & Obstacles OCR's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Case Creek Trails , Tails & Obstacles OCR
Case Creek Obstacles is a great obstacle course racing event that is fun for the whole family. We run this one with our kids (ages 10 and 14) and we all love it. They have a wide variety of obstacles, great trails and pretty terrain. Thanks for always putting on an awesome event.
So lucky to have such a fun, well-run, organized, and challenging obstacle mud run so close to home! Don’t let the word “challenging” scare you though, it’s great for all ages, sizes, and fitness levels so you can make what you want out of it.
Great little course. No frills. Course marking could be a little better, we somehow missed a loop or something on the kids race.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
