Fairly flat trail with decent scenery. It runs along the river for awhile but the river is hardly visible for most of it, which is surprising. Mud is a major issue on this trail if there’s been any recent rainfall. If it’s been dry for a week or so, it would probably be nice to bike.

Looking for a river, meadow, rock, and rail trail, then look no farther. From the Chub Trailhead in Lone Elk Park this is about a 5.5 mile round trip hike with an incline on the way back. Bring lots of water and sun screen.
