Confirmed from Cedar Forest Trail Loop's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cedar Forest Trail Loop
“We went in early summer, it is a nice, well maintained and moderately easy trail.”
“Easy to follow the main loop.”
Nice, clear trail. Some markings. Easy to follow the main loop. Up/downhill slightly at times but not bad for my short lil legs lol
Great trail full of wildflowers. Some ups and downs but nothing major. I’m 65. Weeks took our time. Rocks make great benches. lol
I liked this one. We went in early summer, it is a nice, well maintained and moderately easy trail. There are a couple of fallen logs to step over and about four sections of easy stairstep limestone sections. Great for a family hike of about 45 minutes or an hour!
Grew up hiking the trails in cedar forest. Look for the giants foot on the 2mile loop!
