Confirmed from Sellars Farm State Archaeological Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“If you're up for a very easy walk with beautiful scenery and a little bit of History this is the spot for you.”

The walk itself is quite lovely. I didnt make it around the whole area with my toddler but cant wait to go back. What really makes it fascinating is the history.

This is a great little place to go for a walk. The trail is a 15 foot wide 1.4 mile long loop that goes along the edge of a field then ducks into the woods and goes along a little creek. There is an Indian mound that you should not climb on at the edge of the field.

★★★★☆ — Brad , Mar 2021

This place has beautiful unpaved walking trails and access to the creek. There is a big sign explaining the history of the area. This area has many tall, beautiful trees and a variety of flowers. You may also see some wildlife!

★★★★★ — Mandie , Jul 2020

This was a great place to take the family and enjoy a walk out in the country. It was educational the children got to learn about the Mississippi and culture they got the understanding that there were people here long before colonists ever dreamed of making their way in to the Tennessee area that people had left this…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
