Confirmed from Stillhouse Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Took my family there while they were visiting from out of state, park was clean, quiet and peaceful.”

Clean park, great for swimming. The water is clean and there is a shower with restrooms. Hiking trails, basketball court, volleyball nets, plenty of picnic areas and it is clean! Also, this place was not that crowded and I think people have underrated this location but it is beautiful.

Stillhouse Park, located between Belton and Nolanville, has been a favorite place of mine for years. The park offers a marina, covered picnic tables, restrooms, rentable spaces and I believe camping. Also, there is a trailhead here that will take you all the way to Dana Peak Park as well.

This is a terrific spot to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. You can walk around the entire mountain ⛰ if you are looking for a little cardio. Otherwise, be sure to bring your fishing rod. You may catch a few.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
