Confirmed from Cedar Glades Park Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly destination with a playground, popular for mountain biking and RC planes.
What runners say about Cedar Glades Park Trail Head
“The trails are well maintained.”
“Beautiful river to the west of trail with inquisitive fish.”
Great place to hike or learn how to bike trails. Playground, RC airfield, rock climbing. Cool place.
Great Ride!! We are avid mountain bike riders and we travel all over Oklahoma, Arkansas and regional States. This trail was rated well on Singletracks' webside so we checked it out. The trails were all very ridable for novice rider but the Black might challenge a newby.
An easy walk with some slight inclines. Can cut short if desired. Lots of other activities available (E.g. RC aeroplane airfield!). Beautiful river to the west of trail with inquisitive fish. Very clear and lovely to paddle. Recommend water shoes as stones are manageable but not the most comfortable in bare feet.
Great hike with my wife today. Just fun woodsie hike with some nice water views. Lots of options, we went about 3 miles total. We were here in the early winter on a week day so no bikes were in the trail. I would have loved to have my mountain bike on these trails.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
