Connects to the Black Dog trailhead. Great paved trail that's easy to do 7+ miles on. Plenty of parking and never super crowded, but busy enough to not feel isolated.
Very pleasant on a warm spring/summer afternoon, not too crowded, mix of old, young and families with kids. Few joggers and more byciclists generally you can enjoy your visit in peace and quiet
Safe location, bikers are great about sharing paths. Roller Bladers not so much, really wreakless. Also parking is inadequate on weekends in the afternoon because of construction.
Was a walk of nostalgia as used to live on opposite side of MN River in 1960s & would always see Black Dog plant but had never been by it.
