Confirmed from Cedar Niles Park 135th St Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cedar Niles Park 135th St Trailhead
“It’s a beautiful path and it winds along next to cedar creek nearly the entire way.”
“Most of the trail between 135th and 127th Street is fairly flat and shaded in some parts!”
“Calm and private, next to a very nice trail.”
This is a great new paved trail. I believe this section of the park is less than a few years old. It looks and feels brand new. It’s an out-and-back trail that goes north from this trailhead and connects with the main section of cedar niles park which is located to the northeast of here at Clare road.
This trailhead has facilities as well as picnic tables and a small playground meant for kids 5-12 years of age. Most of the trail between 135th and 127th Street is fairly flat and shaded in some parts!
Nice paved trails, access to creek (there are leeches in it), small playground and covered picnic area, full restrooms, bike station. Nice spot for a walk or bike ride!
Beautiful new park! Nice combination of wooded and open areas. Lots of wildlife. Saw a coyote on the path. Need to come back with my camera!

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
