Confirmed from Lake Olathe Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a beach, an obstacle course, a waterfall and cliffs.
What runners say about Lake Olathe Park
“The playground is pretty clean, and it's nice to be able to see out over the water.”
“The views of Lake Olathe are beautiful, and there are plenty of playgrounds for kids.”
“The lake is a very peaceful and beautiful place to visit in the late fall.”
We did about 3 miles on Olathe Lake on kayaks Lots of up close wildlife. For the attached picture, “ I spy 8 turtles resting on logs”.
This is a great park. The Marina has a lot of rentals at relatively reasonable price. The trails are accessible, but still enjoyable. I haven't been in the eagles nest yet because of the pandemic, but the outside and what I can see through the windows are very nice. Our about troop uses the ampitheater for our meeting.
