Confirmed from Central Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Love this park, it's big and clean and fun for the kids.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Shade canopies over playground.”

Nice little park for an easy walk on their two 0.47 mile trails. Plenty of space to spread out with a family or lounge around and relax with friends. Splash park, playground area, covered picnic table area, large sound theater with concrete seating area

We love this park! It has something for everyone. Covered Playgrounds, swings, walking trails, big open field for all sorts of sports, a pavilion, bench seating, volleyball courts and so much more. We also attend all of the different activities they have including 4th Of July!!

★★★★★ — Eleni , Jul 2022

Big place, lots to do. Rather you're a toddler to a teen, there's so much to do. There's a splash pad, basketball, skateboard, picnic and a mile and 2 mile walk round the sidewalk track.

★★★★★ — Holly , Oct 2025

Very cool place for walks. Great place for water adventures. It's always clean and nice to be here. The toilets are always clean, which is important when you have a child.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🌳 Shaded / tree cover 3 mentions

“Shade canopies over playground.”

🛣️ Paved surface 2 mentions

“Just need to be mindful that there are copperhead snakes around the brush and trees in the back, especially in the evenings, so it's best to remain on the paved path.”
