Confirmed from Central Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-maintained park, with slides, swings, a baseball diamond and walking trails.
What runners say about Central Park
“And No dog poop cause people Actually clean up after themselves and there animals.”
Very well maintained. Great field for baseball practice tho its really a softball field. Not fenced in. There is a walk path. Nice and quiet part of town, very little traffic. I will say tho, if you want the ball field call Clearfield city and reserve it. We've had a couple issues with that.
This is a small park with climbing toys, a merry go round, and a slide. There is a large grass area, a baseball diamond, and a walking trail around the perimeter. My grandchildren enjoy going to this park.
Big park fun let the dogs run. Let tge kids play its a nice shaded park in summer and new play equipment. And No dog poop cause people Actually clean up after themselves and there animals.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
