Confirmed from Central Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large park featuring a miniature zoo, playgrounds, a splash pad, walking paths & picnic areas.
What runners say about Central Riverside Park
“Grounds are well maintained, with sidewalks throughout the park.”
“You can do almost anything there from a Zoo to the Solstice Stones,,,,,, beautiful place to walk or run along the Little Arkansas River.”
This is a nice park with a mini zoo in the middle, playground, and walking paths. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 was that the bathrooms need serious work and the men's room is not labeled
Love this park! I have been going for 20 years. The geese are friendly and the water park is really refreshing in the summer. The nature exhibit has a range of wildlife. There are also walking paths along the river and throughout the park. The gazebo is especially beautiful.
This is a nice little park with restrooms and a water area where kids were playing when I visited. Great for a easy walk or to just relax. I visited because I was interested in checking out the Mini Stonehenge Astrological Calendar. It’s small but it was still neat to look at.
Large variety of play equipment, with outdoor cushioning! 2 separate playgrounds set adjacent to each other. One is built for smaller children about 2- 5 yrs old, it has large-grain sand. The other is a standard playground, with larger traditional play eqipment.
