An incredible section of Riverside Park, just north of Seneca and McLean, and accessible using Central. The paved path found here has one of the more scenic walks of any Wichita park.
I can't say enough about this park! It's near many places of interest that are within walking distance, but you have to see for yourself. Don't know why someone would rate this less then excellent?
Nice park along the Arkansas river. A small zoo with Kansas wildlife and a play area for kids that have fountains the kids can run thru in the summer. Down the road is the Wichita art museum.
Best park in town. Lots of room to run and frolic, generally full of people but not overly crowded. Lots to do. The zoo is a nice perk.
