We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Chambers Creek Canyon yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Chambers Creek Canyon
“Fun, beautiful, but my toddler didn't care for the inclines.”
Beautiful and scenic with few people to disturb you. The only downside is the sound of traffic from the nearby road. The water can be very cool but it is refreshing on a hot summer evening.
A hidden gem at the edge of Steilacoom. The trails are well tended and low population. You can get down to the water where the actual creek is and see many varieties of bird. The only shame is that on the non-trail side, it's private land and people have left random pieces of lawn furniture.
It was beautiful. Perfect fishing and nice little spots for swimming. Fun hike and walk back down stream.
Amazing scenery and a few different trails to spend hours of walking around at a moderate pace. I've been going there for years and even got some amazing pictures while there.
