Confirmed from Channel Park Pavillion, Upper Tampa Bay Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This green space along the namesake trail has a parking lot & a large shelter with restrooms.
What runners say about Channel Park Pavillion, Upper Tampa Bay Trail
“Beautiful experience , My 1st time here , i just recently started riding my electric bike , great park , there were shaded areas throughout which in Florida is definitely a plus !”
“Nice walk serene, I'm from California so I was scared an alligator was gonna come get me!”
I had a great time riding the upper Tampa Bay trail. It's not well marked, so I had to pull out my phone a few times. But it is lovely. There wasn't too much traffic on the trail, so it was easy to ride without worry. Much of it is next to a canal. It also passes through a few parks if you need a break.
Nice walk serene, I'm from California so I was scared an alligator was gonna come get me! Lol
This trail is very good for walking or jogging with some nice paths through wooded areas, bridges, and a few slops to make the routine a bit challenging. But lately it's lacking on maintenance. Some areas on the trail have land erosion and some of the areas along the path have high grass.
Beautiful experience , My 1st time here , i just recently started riding my electric bike , great park , there were shaded areas throughout which in Florida is definitely a plus ! not too crowded . I did visit on a weekday there was access to restrooms, very clean and stocked , well kept . Will be coming back again .
