Very open park to pull the car or bike into and take a quick walk around. A peaceful park located on Oakland Park Boulevard and many probably never notice it exist. Great to walk around the gravel walking path and enjoy seeing several bird varieties in palm trees, on ground and mangroves in the waterway bordering the edge of the park.
I must have passed this park a million times and never saw it. It is hidden in plain sight. The park takes its name from the neighborhood it is in, Cherry Creek Estates. To get to the park you need to pull into the parking lot for the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church next door.
Love this park so much it’s quite and tranquil. Great place to go for a walk or workout in peace. Plenty of parking and plenty of areas to relax and hangout. However there is a couple of bums that hangout towards the evening and you can’t bring your animals here. But, over all very nice place.
