Confirmed from Mangurian Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Mangurian Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (90 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“Kids loved playing on the clean, new playground and there's plenty of open area to run around with a quarter-mile track around the park.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“This isn't a big park, but it has a nice, quiet walking path, and a playground and workout set (both roped off for COVID).”

Nice little park tucked away behind Fresh Market on US-1 north of Oakland. Kids loved playing on the clean, new playground and there's plenty of open area to run around with a quarter-mile track around the park. Even had the opportunity to embarrass myself by only doing two chin-ups on the pull-up bar.

Great park! I had no idea the park was even there! I walked the loop once to warm up and then ran it’s 1/4 mile loop 12 times. The paved pathway was clean and easy to navigate. The park also had a playground and workout area. Water fountain and restrooms were clean.

I like how small it is and right next to the parking lot. It has a bathroom (seriously, that's the 5th star!!), playground, exercise machines, and a little trail you can walk.

This isn't a big park, but it has a nice, quiet walking path, and a playground and workout set (both roped off for COVID). It's well maintained, there's also a water fountain and bathroom on the premises. It fits the bill for a quick visit if you're in North Fort Lauderdale.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
