Confirmed from Chester Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This was my FAVORITE trail to run/jog/walk while I lived in the area. It offers scenic views and you get to see mountains, big rocks, waterbody, baseball field, busy road, private houses, tall trees, and many more! It’s paved and it has inclines and bridges!

This trail offers a safe place for people to enjoy a stroll along the creek. Family and pet friendly. Drop stations to ensure pet waste is disposed of properly. Ample space for walkers, joggers and bikers to get your exercise on while enjoying the sounds and beauty of nature.

Biked this trail today and really enjoyed it. As others have stated, it needs more parking. The trail is fairly flat so I definitely plan to bring the kids here to ride. It would be great to see this trail extended throughout Del-Co, maybe even connected to a train station or other trails.

★★★★☆ — Jeremy , Oct 2018

Beautiful trail that is well maintained. It is paved so it's a great option for everyone wanting to get outdoors even if you have a stroller or young kids. The incline can be a bit much at times for those not used it. Overall a great trail for anyone of all abilities.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 10 mentions

“Make sure you stick to the paved trail though, cuz most (if not all) of the un-paved paths are either to hunting spots, or lead to people's houses.”
