Confirmed from Chestnut Ridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground with covered picnic tables, a walking loop and grassy areas.
What runners say about Chestnut Ridge Park
“Great beautiful grounds, play equipment t and picnic area with several tables and 2 bbqs.”
It has a medium sized playground that has been very nice for my one year old. It has a semi short slide that my toddler likes and a merry go round that’s small, so it’s easy for him to push on his own and super easy to push for adults.
Excellent little park after renovations. Playground is small but super fun for the kiddos. There are restrooms and a picnic covered area. Parking space is pretty small but you can also park on street. There is a big green area downhill and a paved path along all the park.
There are lots of covered picnic tables, and a medium sized playground suitable for small or gradeschool kids. There is an open field area on a hill with a fence at the bottom. The bathrooms close over the winter but are nice in the warmer season. There is a nice path to walk laps around.
Great times at this neighborhood park. The equipment is nice for children, the doggies run quietly. The view of the Olympics mountains offers an open landscape. Bonus: it's a spot to go sledding when it snows 😉
