I hosted a MeetUp hike and we did a 6.0 mile loop on May 8, 2021. The parking is on the street and is free. The trailhead is at the gate entrance to the park. The trail was a fairly easy 6 miles, we were hoping for the flowers to still be in bloom, but those days are passed for the year.
I arrived an hour before close, so just did the drive instead of any hiking. Stunning views! Stopped at all the lookouts to take in the massive rolling hills. Loved my brief time here! Definitely plan to return for a hike.
Get there early to park either inside or on the streets. The road leading to the parking is narrow so drivers will have to let incoming traffic pass and vice versa. Pedestrians walk this road too so be careful.
It was my first time catching the mustard seed in full bloom in Chino Hills State Park. It was absolutely beautiful and the clouds made for even a more spectacular backdrop for my #gogreendress photos. A lot of beautiful trails along this area. Park on the street or get there early and play $5 to park in the lot.
