Confirmed from Chippewa Nature Center - Ridge Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Chippewa Nature Center - Ridge Area
Great trail system. Where you park there is a wooded and groomed trail around one mile (loop). Across the street there is nearly 3 miles of paved trails that goes around water and there is a lookout tower for viewing the wetland areas. I have visited in all four seasons and it is easily accessible and well marked.
We love Chippewa trail and all the trails in the woods. Perfect place to go for a run or take the kids to ride bikes.
Nice little trail to walk through the woods. Seen a lot of wildlife there. Will definitely be back in the future.
A short hike, about 1 mile, but it is beautiful. We connected it to chippewa trail after we finished the loop
