Confirmed from Chisholm Trail Crossing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small creekside green space with 4 picnic tables & bronze cattle sculptures by a local artist.
What runners say about Chisholm Trail Crossing Park
“Lots of shade in spots and beautiful statues to commemorate the Chisholm trail riders.”
This is a beautiful paved trail, whether biking or walking. I do both multiple times weekly. It's about 10 feet wide, so plenty big for the whole family with wagons and all. You'll see beautiful wildlife with nice flowing water, plus it's not so crowded like downtown Austin, even on weekends.
Such a nice walk. I have been here 30 yrs and would take my 3 wheeler up and down Brushy Creek. I love that they have preserved the Creek Very Beautifully .
Great little hike and bike trail. Paved walkway for most of it, but the best part is where the sidewalk ends and you can go down to the dried up creek beds. Just watch out for dog-logs on the walkway.
Crisp afternoon walk. Ducks, turtles, fish and family. Beautiful place to sit and chill.
Trail conditions & character
“The walking trail on the other side of the road has pleasant views, but might also be under construction because there is a lot of mulch still in bags.”
“Paved walkway for most of it, but the best part is where the sidewalk ends and you can go down to the dried up creek beds.”
