Confirmed from Round Rock West Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil city park with tennis & volleyball courts, walking trails, a duck pond & a playground.
What runners say about Round Rock West Park
“Water looked clean but I would not let dogs swim.”
“Beautiful park, great for kids with playground with swings and Slides.”
“Tennis, small playground, plenty of benches, pavilion, plenty of trees for shade, restrooms, and the fountain gives it a nice little touch.”
“Excellent for what it is; a quiet, local, moderately sized park with a fishable large pond, play scapes, geese, ducks, turtles, and a walking trail.”
This is a small park with a lot of fun features for people in all walks of life. My kid loves the climbing gym area and the sand pit; the tennis 🎾 courts are nice, the lake has some paddle boats (although I'm not certain if they are available for everyone or personally owned) there are walking/hiking/running trails…
The dogs loved the trails and squirrels to chase. I wouldn’t let the doggies dig in the volleyball pit, but they liked to roll around in sand 😂💙. Water looked clean but I would not let dogs swim. Question: is it safe to let dogs swim in this lake in summer? I noticed it was running water, did not see algae.
Great park in Round Rock. Lots of parking and areas of shade, by trees and playground equipment. Has covered picnic tables and grills/trashcans available. There's also ducks and walking trails. This is a big, but quiet, park.
Excellent for what it is; a quiet, local, moderately sized park with a fishable large pond, play scapes, geese, ducks, turtles, and a walking trail. Downsides: limited parking, turtles can affect fishing
