We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Cienega Canyon Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cienega Canyon Preserve
“Its beautiful and worth the extra effort.”
Love this place so many trails to follow , l always have a blast here!!
Easily missed gate/entrance to trail but once you know where to look, its a nice place for quick workout to bike the rolling hills that meanders thru the community of Beaumont that is if you chose to hike up and follow the grid lines. On the left turn, there’s a trail to open area. Trail can be sandy to muddy.
I live close by, this is a nice trail with a very nice view on top, there’s some loose soft area on the trail to watch out when biking. This will be my go to trail to riding out from my home.
