We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Gateway Ranch yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Gateway Ranch
As far I know, it is a community owned hiking trail to a view a-top a hill which gives you a 360 view over Redlands, Yucaipa and adjoining communities. With spectacular views of all the snow covered mountains, including beautiful, orange poppy-covered and purple lupus covered vistas.
Wow! They literally thought of everything. Air for your bike tires, water, a sitting area with a grill and sink, a bathroom thats low key better than your own, separate ped and horse/bike trails, a horse staging area, a garden, a solar lit path leading back to your car a night.
Stopped briefly to check out this horse and walk trail. Way too hot in summer months...BUT in cooler weather perfect.

The practical stuff
