Confirmed from City Central Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about City Central Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (20 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

This place is amazing. It is huge and has everything! Well, maybe not everything (it can't have everything, because that would be impossible) but it has a lot: Three softball fields A baseball field Eight soccer fields Two basketball courts An inline hockey rink Two playgrounds Two sand volleyball courts Tennis courts…

★★★★★ — Sheri , Sep 2022

Love this park just down the road from my house very peaceful and has paved walking paths. Brand new basketball courts out side and new concrete on them with new hoops, only one rim too!

★★★★★ — Darren , Mar 2026

Very nice city park with sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, an in-line rink, playground, gazebo with picnic tables, restrooms, and drinking fountains. Nice shaded areas as well as paths to walk around the small pond.

★★★★★ — Aaron , May 2023

Nice small park behind Walker Ice and Fitness. Not much for shade except along the back edge of the park.

★★★★☆ — Eugene , Jun 2025

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
