We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of CITY OF STERLING OVERLAND TRAIL RECREATION AREA yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about CITY OF STERLING OVERLAND TRAIL RECREATION AREA
This lake is very good for walking the path that is there, doing yoga because you can heal with nature. It has two bathrooms, but it's not a flush toilet, just a hole, I honestly don't think it's hygienic. But on the other side of the lake, there's a building where you can do your business where it's more appropriate.
This is right near a full rest stop. Lots of parking, restrooms, fishing dock, benches throughout bench. Great picnic area and paved trail around small lake/pond
Very small community riverside open space area with walking/biking trails, picnic area, vault toilet, pond and fishing pier. This is located adjacent to the visitor center which also has excellent parking for any size rig or RV. I had 3 bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming throughout the property.
