Columbine Park on Sterling’s southeast edge, while smaller and less wooded than Pioneer Park on the West Central edge of the town, is nonetheless one of the area’s finest outdoor leisure spots. Old looming cottonwoods and elms help to shade this well maintained park.
Great place for people of all ages to enjoy! My husband and I walk there when we are able, and the walking paths are always well maintained. We also like to take the grandkids with us to walk and play at the playground.
Beautiful park with a nice walking path! I love taking my dog for walks there! Plenty of space for an event, with two separate pavilions and plenty of picnic tables. The playground is smaller but a nice set up and there are benches all around the park to rest or just sit and enjoy the weather.
A nice park, quite and restful. Close to main hwy but on the far side you don't notice. The train might give a skip of a heart beat if you aren't ready for blasts of its horn. Great play area for kids, a great sidewalk to walk, ride a bike and plenty of grass to play and run on. Pubic bathrooms not very clean.
