UPDATE: There is signage! Located just east of the Gulfport Marina, small Clam Bayou invites for a stroll and picnic under the roof of a newer gazebo or for a paddle on the water by kayak or canoe.
There are plenty of bike trails and nature trails all throughout the Bayou, where bug repelling you're going to need it. The fishing is not too shabby either. The sunsets are surreal.
This was a very nice place to launch our kayak! It does have some shady mangrove tunnel entrances, and also plenty of smooth, open water. There were some openings that led to the bay. Be sure to go during high tide because we had to pick up and turn our kayak around a few times.
This is a beautiful hidden gem of a park. They have a few nice areas to fish from, including off of a long walking trail. The main trail is paved so you can bike, walk, or skate. There is a large hill in the middle of the park that is fun to climb.
