We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Clarence Nature Center Building yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Just checked this nature place for the first time. It's a hidden gem. Nice place for a single individual because the trails are easy to navigate. Very quiet. Highly recommend. 😊🍁🍂🍃

Enter at the back of the senior center or the baseball field on Thompson road. Good place to take a walk and dogs love it too ...

4 stars because I wish it had a map. Visited on April 24th. Barely anything growing there were a tiny few forest flowers. Dry ground, lots of leaves and downed trees. Never found that wooden bridge I've seen in photos, but I did see this small bridge abutment on the (Onondaga) Escarpment Trail.

What a beautiful place to hike and enjoy joy nature. The building was being used for an independent film while I was there so it wasn't open to the public but it looked great

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
