Confirmed from Tillman Road Wildlife Management Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Tillman Road Wildlife Management Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (261 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Beautiful place to hike or look for wildlife.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“It is generally an easy walk for most (not wheelchair or handicap friendly).”

Drove by Tillman Road Wildlife Park and felt compelled to check it out. It is generally an easy walk for most (not wheelchair or handicap friendly). There are some inclines with loose gravel / sand along with some narrowing trails. It was dry when we went, as there hasn't been any measure able rain in a month.

These pictures were taken in early January. This is a diamond in the rough of hiking trails. I was not able to hike all of it due to the fact that the trails were relatively muddy, and my shoes were not proper for this occasion, but there seems to be a very beautiful spot to immerse yourself in nature, amidst the town…

This is a great place to take a walk. You can make it short or as long as you would like. there are plenty of things to discover here. I like to ride my mountain bike through all the wooded paths. Or I have snowshoed and crosscounty skied here I almost always get to meet interesting people along the way.

Beautiful place to hike or look for wildlife. It has a couple sections with water where you can find fish, turtles, and frogs. There is a bird viewing area, and you can find snakes in a lot of spots. Nice to visit any time of year. Definitely worth visiting

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
