Public park, used for Softball/Baseball, Little League, Youth Football/Soccer. Small but entertaining playground area quite adequate for younger children. Lovely grove of trees (primarily evergreen) with scattered picnic tables - only one cookout unit.
Nice little park. Backs up to a forest with some trails and some small places to wet a line in case you feel like doing a little fishing. Usually well maintained. Looking for a place to get away from the center of Old Saybrook, this is a nice little get away. Go north at the light of Luigis and rt 1.
A true childhood memory from all the soccer and baseball played. Also a great pond to skate on in winter and fish year round. Love the new disc course and all the trails. The fire gazebo is also perfect for outings!
I grew up mountain biking here and hanging out by the river. It's always a clean and quiet park, a nice place to go for a walk. I noticed they added a disc golf course as well which looks very well maintained.
