Confirmed from Clauss Farm Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a fitness center and basketball and baseball areas, plus a sledding hill.
What runners say about Clauss Farm Recreation Area
“I've lived in the area for years and can always count on this park to be clean and safe.”
I've lived in the area for years and can always count on this park to be clean and safe. I walk my dogs religiously even through the depth of winter. The path has always been perfectly plowed. Great place for families and pets :)
Always been a great park district facility since I was in High School. The gym is well kept, machines are always updated and clean. The walking track is free, helped my mom keep moving during her recovery from surgery.
I love that this path (just under a mile) is always clear, even if it snows. Also has brand new pickle ball courts.
Great space for walking and enjoying the outdoors. Just added pickleball courts which people were enjoying
Trail conditions & character
“I do hate it however when people use the park for their dogs toilet.”
