Confirmed from Coastal Trail - 2nd and H St's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Coastal Trail - 2nd and H St
“One of the most beautiful trails you'll ever experience in your entire life visit Alaska today and experience a place like no other.”
The Coastal Trail is my favorite biking trail in the whole world!!! There's plenty to see along the way...very scenic! It's great for walking, running, rollerblading, biking, skiing, dog walking, and any other fun, non-motorized recreational way to get you outside to get some exercise while soaking up the spectacular…
One of the best experiences and a great way to see the sights of Anchorage. The path follows the coast for some wonderful views. Of on bike, you can get all the way to the airport and even visit the sea port.
Rented e bikes and did the trail up to Kincaid park. Took the alternate route back. A wholesome and most excellent experience! Truly one of the best experiences you can have! If there is one thing to do in Anchorage this is it.
It was my first time on the trail, and I was surprised to see how nice it was,and I had a baby in a stroller and I had no problems at all.
