Confirmed from Cochituate Rail Trail Natick Terminus' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cochituate Rail Trail Natick Terminus
“The trail itself is well maintained, nicely paved, there are some nice views of lakes.”
“A great, easy level, paved walking/running/biking trail.”
A great, easy level, paved walking/running/biking trail. 3.6 miles from one end to the other, total. Pretty views of water, trees, streams , some urban views as well, and crosses over both Route 9 and Route 30. Well marked and pretty landscaping.
It's a beautifully newly paved trail that is great for walking biking blading or boarding. Lake views park views and small town views. Very minimal elevation gain over the 3.7 mile total distance with many options to get into other trails or roads. Just added it to the AllTrails app.
The trail itself is well maintained, nicely paved, there are some nice views of lakes. Great for biking, dog walking, running, etc. There's a part that connects to the Natick mall which is very useful. The path can be busy and people don't always stay to the side so passing can be difficult.
Amazing place to run or walk!! Lots of people out walking their dogs. Parking lot is currently under construction but there are still plenty of spots. Nice to go a little further down the trail and walk to the water. Also some side paths for extra hiking with nice sights.
